Office of Admissions

Admission is an application, a review, and a matriculation.

Nothing more, and nothing less. The University admits on a rolling basis, throughout the year, and every application is read by the Office of Admissions.

The Course of Admission

Three steps, in order.

  1. I

    Application

A short application to the Office of Admissions: who you are, the field you intend to study, and what you hope to practise. No transcripts and no standardised tests are required for foundation study.

    Plate I — Application
  2. II

    Review

The Office of Admissions reads every application. Review considers your background, the programme you have chosen, and your intent to practise ethically within its scope. Decisions are returned within a few business days.

    Plate II — Review
  3. III

    Matriculation

On acceptance you matriculate into the current academic term. Your student record opens with the Office of the Registrar, your portal access is issued, and guided study begins.

    Plate III — Matriculation

Who We Admit

Women in the middle of a working life.

Most of our students are women past forty who are changing careers into health and wellness, or formalising work they already do. Nurses and allied-health professionals broadening their practice. Coaches and practitioners who want their knowledge examined and credentialed. Women returning to serious study after years away from it.

No prior licence is required for foundation study. Every programme teaches the scope of practice of its own field, and University credentials attest to completed, examined study — they are not a licence to practise medicine.

What admission includes

  • A place in the current academic term, with the term calendar governing add–drop and conferral dates.
  • Access to the student portal and the guided lecture player for your programme of study.
  • A student record opened with the Office of the Registrar at matriculation.
  • Examination at each stage of study, and — on passing the board examination — a credential entered in the University register.

Questions, Answered Plainly

Frequently asked of the Office of Admissions.

Do I need prior clinical experience?+

No. Foundation programmes are written for career-changers and begin from first principles. Where a programme assumes prior study, the catalogue entry says so plainly. Every programme teaches the scope of practice of its own field.

What are the requirements for admission?+

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, proficient in English, and able to study online. No prior licence or degree is required for foundation study. What the University asks of every student is a commitment to ethical practice.

When can I begin?+

Admission is rolling — applications are read throughout the year. Once matriculated, you begin within the current academic term; the term calendar is published on the Academics page.

Is study self-paced?+

Within the term, yes. Lectures are guided and may be studied at your own pace; modules close with case-based checkpoints, and each programme ends in a board examination before any credential is conferred.

Is financial aid available?+

Yes. The Dean's Office of Financial Aid reviews scholarship requests made during admission. Tuition and aid are described on the Tuition & Financial Aid page — admissions decisions are made independently of them.

Begin with the catalogue.

Find the programme of study that names the work you intend to do, then bring your application to the Office of Admissions.
